Bella’s 40th annual Gala for Life will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 pm at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Convention Center (off I-90, Exit 14). The evening will feature a delicious banquet, an inspiring program, and an opportunity to support Bella’s mission to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies.
This year’s program includes:
- Special music
- Annual update on Bella’s ministry
- Testimony from a client who received help at Bella
- Keynote address by Matt Hammitt, former lead singer of Sanctus Real
Bella is currently seeking underwriters and table sponsors for the event.
Underwriters
Underwriters are the foundation of the Gala, covering primary event expenses so that 100% of attendee pledges and donations go directly to Bella’s mission. This assurance encourages generous giving, multiplying the impact of your support.

Table Sponsorship
Table sponsors are the heart of the Gala, helping educate others about Bella’s life-affirming ministry.
- Cost: $200 per table (seats 8)
- Invite friends as your guests to experience the event and learn about Bella
- Semi-formal evening with dinner, program, testimonials, and an opportunity to give
- Tables assigned in order of response; sponsors acknowledged in program and at the table
- Note: Table sponsorship is not tax-deductible

Special Guest Speaker: Matt Hammitt
Matt Hammit is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter author, and speaker, best known as the lead vocalist of the Christian band Sanctus Real from 1996-2016. During his tenure with the band, he received three Dove Awards and two Grammy nominations, and he wrote numerous chart-topping songs performed by Sanctus Real and other notable artists.
His songwriting is recognized for its authenticity, hope, and ability to connect deeply with audiences through themes of resilience, faith, and perseverance.
An Ohio native, now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Matt stepped away from Sanctus Real in 2016 to prioritize family life. That decision became the foundation of his book “Lead me: Finding Courage to Fight for Your Marriage, Children, and Faith”, which offers an unfiltered account of his personal journey through faith, marriage, and fatherhood.
Matt has released three solo albums and in 2025 signed a new recording deal with Gotee Records, marking a new chapter in his musical career.
