Volunteer Opportunities

Bella can use volunteer support in nearly every area of ministry. If you have a heart for walking alongside women, men, and families experiencing unplanned pregnancies, here are some positions that may interest you: 

Client Advocates

Support clients through pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and counseling.

Male Client Advocates 

Mentor and encourage fathers and partners.

EWYL/Bright Course Educators 

Teach parenting and life-skill lessons.

Nurses 

Provide pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, education, and crisis support.

Helpline Workers 

Answer calls outside office hours and schedule appointments.

Receptionists

Greet clients, answer phones, and assist with clerical work.

Post-Abortion Help 

Support women through healing after abortion.

Life-Skills Coordinators & Instructors 

Plan and teach classes on parenting, budgeting, cooking, and more.

All client-interacting roles require completion of the Client Advocate Training Seminar.

Behind the scenes Volunteer Opportunities

If you prefer to work behind the scenes, one or more of these volunteer opportunities may be a good fit for you at Bella: 

Project/Craft Instructors 

Lead crafts and hands-on projects during life-skills classes.

Administrative Helpers 

Assist with mailings, filing, data entry, and office tasks.

Graphic Designers 

Create newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.

Board Members 

Provide guidance, oversight, and participate in ministry events.

Community/Church Liaisons 

Represent Bella within local churches and communities.

Boutique Manager & Helpers 

Organize, maintain, and stock maternity and baby items.

Maintenance & Handy-Person Volunteers 

Assist with cleaning, repairs, painting, and lawn care.

Gardeners 

Maintain Bella’s Pregnancy Loss Memorial Garden during spring, summer, and fall months.

Fundraising Committee Members

Plan and support events like Gala for Life and Baby Bottle Campaign.

Professional Experts 

Offer guidance in areas like law, medicine, finance, or web design.

Prayer Team 

Commit to praying for Bella and its clients.

Cooks/Bakers 

Provide meals or snacks for classes and special events.
